BUD is a 3 yr. old Beagle who was dumped in a local pound when his family decided they no longer wanted the responsibility of owning a dog. He was placed in a foster home and has settled in. However, he’s stubborn and headstrong, so he will need an experienced guardian. As long as you’re patient and keep him in check with a firm hand, he’ll do just fine. He’s a little chowhound, so you’ll need to watch his food intake to keep him from packing on the pounds. While he is okay with the other dogs in his foster home, it would be best to have him as an only pet. He can be bossy and doesn't like to share his food or human with the others. He’ll need a quiet house, only one or two people. We prefer an adult-only home for this guy. Beagles are known for attaching to only a select few people to the exclusion of everyone else. He’s not that loud unless he’s in a crate, and then he voices his displeasure. He loves cuddling on the couch and would be content to spend the entire evening snuggled up.

If you’re interested in BUD or any of our other pets, please e-mail us at AllStarPets@comcast.net or visit us on the web at allstar.petfinder.com.
